JD is a typical 16 year old boy! He has a vent (life support machine) to help him breath, a trach tube in his neck that the vent connects to so he can breath. He has a g-tube in his stomach to help him eat. A wheelchair to ride in. And an Eye-gaze system (computer w/camera) so he can speak. All of these things on the outside, people see as no quality of life! I see it as, giving a life a chance! Everyone's "Circle of Life" is a different journey from another, therefore everyone's "quality of life" is a different journey from anothers. None of these things have changed the person inside my son that he was born to be! I thank you for joining us on our journey here on the web. Trusting Our Journey!
